Shaping the Future of Ministry Together: Take Our Digital Transformation Survey
Bexley Seabury Seminary is preparing to shape the future of theological education—and your voice is essential to that transformation.
We’re launching the Digital Transformation & Ministry Innovation Survey, a key part of our planning process for a major new initiative that centers real needs, expands access, and equips leaders for ministry in a digital world. This is more than a survey—it’s a listening tool to guide how we build, serve, and lead.
What’s this all about?
Bexley Seabury is applying for a significant grant from the Lilly Endowment’s Pathways for Tomorrow Initiative. This national initiative supports theological schools like ours in preparing and sustaining pastoral leaders—including both ordained pastors and lay ministers—for the changing Church.
We’re asking for your wisdom and experience to help shape:
Community-Based Tech Hubs: These local ministry spaces will provide free internet access, technology tools, and shared workspace for pastoral leaders and students.
Digital Ministry Training Programs: We’re developing practical, accessible training covering livestreaming, hybrid worship, digital discipleship, social media ministry, and the faithful use of technology in pastoral care.
Expanded IT Infrastructure: We aim to grow our internal capacity to serve students and leaders across the country with reliable, innovative, and mission-aligned digital tools and support.
Why now?
Because the needs of the Church—and of those who lead it—are evolving.
In this time of profound transformation, theological education must be adaptive, accessible, and rooted in both tradition and innovation. This survey helps us listen first. And lead faithfully.
How long does it take?
The survey takes just 12–15 minutes to complete.
Why your voice matters
