A New Call for Kevin Lowe ’24

The Rev. Dr. Kevin Lowe, M.Div. Class of 2024, was recently selected to serve as Associate Dean of the Stevenson School for Ministry, an online school hosted by the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania that provides flexible theological education for all orders of ministry. He also currently serves as Priest in Charge of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Lewisburg PA. Fr. Kevin is originally from Ithaca, NY, and moved to PA in 2007 for a doctorate in American religious history from Penn State. He is the author of Baptized with the Soil: Christian Agrarians and the Crusade for Rural America (Oxford, 2016), and has also written for Earth & AltarChristian Century, and Religion Dispatches. He was sponsored for priesthood by St. Andrew’s, State College PA, and served as a transitional deacon both there and at St. John’s, Bellefonte PA. In his spare time, he is a professional drummer and plays with numerous musicians around the region, including the Zeropoint Big Band, Rick Hirsch, Ady Martinez y Orquestra mi Amor, Dead Stars, and Tyne and the Fastlyne. His wife Sarah Klinetob Lowe works for the Clean Energy Center at the Pennsylvania College of Technology and serves on the diocesan Creation Care committee. Their daughter Julia is in second grade.
