Our new Associate Rector for Children & Youth and Innovative Ministries will be a collaborative and imaginative priest, serving as a key member of a vibrant and inclusive parish. Working closely with the Rector, staff, and lay leaders, this person will share in the full sacramental and pastoral life of the parish while providing primary leadership for Children & Youth ministries and helping the parish engage new and emerging forms of ministry through innovation and creative leadership.
Our church’s pastoral setting is minutes away from downtown Newnan, GA, with its vibrant courthouse square that includes restaurants, boutiques, galleries, performing arts centers, monthly markets and events; a unique blend of Southern charm, historical richness and a dynamic community spirit.
Position’s Prioritized Responsibilities:
Providing vision and pastoral leadership for children, youth, and family ministries
Exploring innovative and emerging ministries
Sharing in sacramental, pastoral, and teaching ministries
Other responsibilities determined in partnership with Father Winston
Qualifications:
M.Div.
Ordained Episcopal priest or seeking ordination
Experience in Children and Youth ministries, worship, pastoral care, and formation
Compensation & Benefits:
Full time salary funded for a minimum of 3 years commensurate with experience
