Rector

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

LOCATION: Fort Mill, South Carolina

St. Paul’s is a diverse, pastoral-sized Episcopal parish located in the suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina. Founded in 1959, St. Paul’s includes approximately 180 members, with an average Sunday attendance of 55 and a budget of approximately $200,000. The parish is debt-free.

Fort Mill, South Carolina, is one of the fastest-growing towns in the United States. Recent U.S. Census data identified it among the nation’s fastest-growing communities (2022–2023), driven by proximity to Charlotte, highly rated schools, and rapid residential development. While growth has been significant, Fort Mill maintains a welcoming, small-town character.

Nestled on just over nine wooded acres, St. Paul’s offers a close-knit parish community where newcomers quickly feel at home. With an average congregational age of 50, we represent a rich mix of ages and backgrounds, united in faith and service. We honor the liturgical and Prayer Book tradition while remaining open to fresh ideas that nurture worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
